Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Union Legal Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about document review into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with document review. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
