Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Clearpath Iron Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Des Moines. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about regulatory filings into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with regulatory filings. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
