Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Lantern Learning Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about family communication into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Orlando. • We reply to every applicant.
