Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Redstone Sparrow Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Seattle, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about client records into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with client records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
