Software Engineer - internal tools (Raleigh, NC)

Silverline Birch Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Raleigh. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about client records into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with client records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
