Software Engineer - internal tools (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Corner Pharma and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Providence. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory filings. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
