Software Engineer - internal tools (Providence, RI)

Greenridge Quill Health is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about patient education into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with patient education. • Cloud deployment experience.
