Software Engineer - internal tools (Providence, RI)

Cedar Linden Legal Group provides legal services in Providence across employment, housing and small-business law, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
