Software Engineer - internal tools (Pittsburgh, PA)

Rivermark Quarry Health is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 646 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about insurance authorisations into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
