Software Engineer - internal tools (Pittsburgh, PA)

Cedar Cobalt Medical is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for complaint handling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about complaint handling into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with complaint handling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
