Software Engineer - internal tools (Pittsburgh, PA)

Fernwood Corner Medical Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for device records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
