Software Engineer - internal tools (Philadelphia, PA)

Bluepeak Stone Care Services Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for caregiver training, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about caregiver training into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with caregiver training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
