Software Engineer - internal tools (Omaha, NE)

Silverline Pine Community Partners runs community programmes across Omaha. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about grant reporting into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
