Software Engineer - internal tools (Oakland, CA)

Highbridge Pine Pharma is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for regulatory filings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with regulatory filings. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
