Software Engineer - internal tools (New Orleans, LA)

Greenridge Junction Medical designs and makes medical devices in New Orleans. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about complaint handling into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with complaint handling. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
