Software Engineer - internal tools (Minneapolis, MN)

Redstone Pine Financial is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for payment disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 57 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about payment disputes into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with payment disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
