Software Engineer - internal tools (Madison, WI)

Northwind Lakeside Care Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for caregiver training, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about caregiver training into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with caregiver training. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
