Software Engineer - internal tools (Louisville, KY)

Amberfield Summit Pharma develops and makes medicines in Louisville, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about quality documentation into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with quality documentation. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
