Software Engineer - internal tools (Las Vegas, NV)

Foxglove Junction Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Las Vegas, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about regulatory reports into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
