Software Engineer - internal tools (Las Vegas, NV)

Highbridge Haven Early Learning runs childcare centres in Las Vegas caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Turn requests about tuition and subsidies into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
