Software Engineer - internal tools (Jacksonville, FL)

Rivermark Stone Transit Planning Partners plans bus and rail service for cities around Jacksonville, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would join a large organisation of about 505 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
