Software Engineer - internal tools (Jacksonville, FL)

Bluepeak Iron Medical is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for training materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 164 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Turn requests about training materials into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with training materials. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
