Software Engineer - internal tools (Indianapolis, IN)

Northwind Bright Medical Group designs and makes medical devices in Indianapolis, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would join a large organisation of about 765 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with production lots. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
