Software Engineer - internal tools (Honolulu, HI)

Amberfield Junction Water Authority Group is a public water utility serving the Honolulu area. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about billing accounts into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
