Software Engineer - internal tools (Honolulu, HI)

We are growing our team at Nova Willow Medical Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Turn requests about training materials into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with training materials. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
