Software Engineer - internal tools (Honolulu, HI)

Redstone Ashton Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Honolulu, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would join a large organisation of about 363 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about electronic records into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with electronic records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
