Software Engineer - internal tools (Hartford, CT)

Harborlight Ivory Health Partners is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about patient education into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with patient education. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
