Software Engineer - internal tools (Hartford, CT)

Rivermark Granite Financial Group serves customers across Hartford with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about customer onboarding into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with customer onboarding. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
