Software Engineer - internal tools (Hartford, CT)

Rivermark Drift Facilities is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for cleaning schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Turn requests about cleaning schedules into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with cleaning schedules. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
