Software Engineer - internal tools (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Cedar Meadow Medical and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a large organisation of about 409 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with clinical evaluations. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
