Software Engineer - internal tools (Grand Rapids, MI)

Greenridge Umber Facilities looks after properties across the Grand Rapids region. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about supply orders into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with supply orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
