Software Engineer - internal tools (Fresno, CA)

Greenridge Yarrow Telecom Group builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Fresno area, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would join a small organisation of about 164 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about billing accounts into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
