Software Engineer - internal tools (Fort Worth, TX)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Willow Early Learning and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about family communication into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
