Software Engineer - internal tools (El Paso, TX)

Cedar Basin Health is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about patient education into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with patient education. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
