Software Engineer - internal tools (El Paso, TX)

Rivermark Quarry Health is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for patient scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 640 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about patient scheduling into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with patient scheduling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
