Software Engineer - internal tools (Detroit, MI)

Amberfield Willow Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Detroit. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Turn requests about release testing into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with release testing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
