Software Engineer - internal tools (Denver, CO)

Foxglove Hollow Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Denver, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Turn requests about hardship programmes into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
