Software Engineer - internal tools (Denver, CO)

Amberfield Meridian Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Denver. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would join a large organisation of about 855 people based in Denver. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about test reports into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
