Software Engineer - internal tools (Colorado Springs, CO)

Redstone Junction Community Partners is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for donor records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about donor records into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with donor records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Colorado Springs, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
