Software Engineer - internal tools (Colorado Springs, CO)

Stonegate Summit Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Colorado Springs. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about customer complaints into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We reply to every applicant.
