Software Engineer - internal tools (Colorado Springs, CO)

Summit Glen Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Colorado Springs. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about field inspections into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
