Software Engineer - internal tools (Cleveland, OH)

Highbridge Yarrow Legal Group is a law firm in Cleveland serving businesses and individuals. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about client files into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with client files. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
