Software Engineer - internal tools (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Haven Pharma and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Turn requests about quality documentation into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with quality documentation. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
