Software Engineer - internal tools (Charleston, SC)

Foxglove Meadow Medical Group designs and makes medical devices in Charleston. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about clinical evaluations into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with clinical evaluations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
