Software Engineer - internal tools (Charleston, SC)

Harborlight Loom Medical is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for regulatory submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory submissions. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
