Software Engineer - internal tools (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Timber Learning Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with attendance records.
