Software Engineer - internal tools (Buffalo, NY)

Greenridge Maple Community Partners is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for volunteer shifts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about volunteer shifts into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
