Software Engineer - internal tools (Buffalo, NY)

Summit Wilder Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Buffalo producing generic and specialty treatments, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would join a small organisation of about 112 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about clinical studies into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with clinical studies. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
