Software Engineer - internal tools (Boston, MA)

Greenridge Forge Facilities is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for customer sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Boston. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about customer sites into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
