Software Engineer - internal tools (Boston, MA)

Ironwood Bridge Legal Group provides legal services in Boston across employment, housing and small-business law, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about intake forms into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with intake forms. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
